Uncultured Western Behaviors, Threat to Nigerian Marriages

Marriage is a union between a man and woman who both agreed to come together as husband and wife as a result of the love they share with each other, prompting them to leave their various families and unite together as one for pro-creation and fulfilling other marital obligations.

Marriage is well respected in the culture and tradition of Nigeria, our people accord respect to couples that can maintain their marital vows no matter the challenges that they may face as children are seen as the reward for such union.

Civilization is fast interfering with the ordinance of God and impeding on the original plan for marriage as people now have the choice to marry same sex rather than the opposite sex as planned and ordained by God Almighty.

Western civilization has created laws and the environment for people to decide their sex, marital choices and families to be raised which sometimes is abnormal.

Same sex marriages, lesbianism, bi-sexual, Homosexuality, gay marriages, and other crazy unions have been permitted by the Western world all in the name of civilization. They try to re-write and change the plans and ordinance of God Almighty.

Some who want to hide their true identity engaged in bi-sexual as they get married to the opposite sex but still have affairs with their kind either in a gay or lesbian relationship to cover up their tracks.

Talking about bi-sexual, it is gradually becoming a norm in the society as those practicing gay, lesbian or Homosexuality also get married to the opposite sex to keep the eyes of the public away from their activities and relationships.

There are stories upon stories of such acts in Nigeria and the fight to discourage people engaging in bi-sexuality have continued to fall on deaf ears as there are evidences of such relationships in the Country.

The story of Agho Endurance Efosa is one in several of such stories in Nigeria which point to the facts that many Nigerians are living today in the Country practicing bisexuality against the wish of their partners.

Agho Endurance Efosa whose story need to be mentioned in this article is serious and heart breaking as his life and that of his family are in danger as he continues to recieve death threat daily from the family of his lover.

Efosa and Idris Mohammed have been friends for years before the friendship transformed into love relationship which was later discovered by Alhaji Malik Mohammed, Idris’ father , who is a core Muslim and frowned at such act.

According to investigation, Idris Mohammed is well connected as a result of his father’s influence in the corridors of power, getting contracts and awarding same to his lover also assisting him financially which drew them more closer.

Discovering the love relationship between Agho Endurance Efosa and Idris Mohammed led Alhaji Malik Mohammed threatening to make life miserable for Efosa and his family promising to kill him whenever he sets his eyes on him and also threatened to wipe out Efosa’s family for luring his son into the abominable acts which has put his position as the leader of the Muslim Community in disrepute.

Alhaji Malik Mohammed informed the police about the shameless activities engaged in by Efosa exonerating his son from any wrong doing and the police declared Efosa wanted while his son was protected from prosecution.

Efosa is on the run and hiding from the law which stipulate 14 years jail term for anyone who is guilty of the crime while his wife has been briefed on Efosa’s involvement in bisexuality.

The incident which happened in Niger State in the core Northern region in Nigeria is causing uproar as some Muslim youths promised to burn alive Efosa’s wife and family if he fails to give himself up following the sacrilege he committed which is against the laws of the land, tenet of Islam, Christianity and even traditional worship in the Country.

Report had it that Efosa’s wife is calling on spirited Nigerians and security agencies to save her and her family as she is not even aware of the whereabouts of her husband who is on the run as Alhaji Malik Mohammed has kept threatening the family sending all sources of people to look for her husband and kill him as well as his family.

She noted that since the incident happened, she and her entire family have been living in fear, knowing that their lives are in danger especially living in the Northern part of Nigeria as they don’t play with any issue that stands against their well cherished Islamic religion.

The police is still in search of Efosa whose whereabouts is yet unknown as the security agencies are strategizing to rid the society off people from the LGBTQI Community.

There are many cases like that of Efosa in Nigeria and despite the law which incriminate same sex relationship, Nigerian youths are still engaged in such activities relying on the Western nations to intervene in ensuring their lives are safe in the Country which practically is impossible as many of them have been killed or imprisoned.
