ULC suspends strike, resumes negotiation with FG next week 

The United Labour Congress, (ULC) has suspended it’s 2 day-old nationwide strike which commenced on Monday.    

The National President of ULC Comrade Joe Ajaero  said this after the meeting with the Federal Government Negotiation Team led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige in Abuja.

According to  Comrade Ajaero, The Minister said that the proposal for the registration of ULC was on and that there was no finality that ULC will not be registered.” ‎

“Part of the agreement at the meeting was that petroleum workers should resume work,while the two groups will also meet next week for the continuation of the conciliatory meeting.
