Three general hospitals to be upgraded to specialist health institutions in Anambra

Three General Hospitals in Anambra state will be upgraded to specialists Hospitals with provisions of ultra modern equipment.
The hospitals are Ekwulobia, Onitsha, and Enugwu Ugwu , all cutting across the three senatorial zones.
The State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano announced this during a political flag off at Abagana, the Headquarters of Njikoka local government Council.
The governor explained that the essence of the upgrade was to offer equal health services to every individual, and as well stand among the hospitals penciled down for the health insurance scheme.
Governor Obiano said “Njikoka had benefited immensely from my administration in various means, such as appointment, infrastructures and other capital projects.
“Apart from all the major roads we have completed, next year we will commence the construction of inner roads across the communities in the local government. Those roads have been designed and factored in the 2018 budget,” Governor added.
The Deputy Governor, Chief Nkem Okeke, said the present administration had transformed every facet of development simultaneously, ranging from roads, vis-a-vis Oye Agu -Ukpo – Abagana roads, links roads, and other strategic roads in Njikoka local government.
The Member Board of Trustees in APGA, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka described APGA as a spirit and movement that drives the vision and mission of the state.
Ezeonwuka called on meaningful individuals to embrace APGA and express their support to Obiano for proper continuity.
Equally speaking, one of the stakeholders in the party and an industrialist, Chief Pius Nweke expressed gratitude to the governor for providing security which had encouraged them to invest home.
Mr Nweke who is also the Chairman Best Aluminum, urged other capitalists to adopt the “Aku luo uno ” philosophy to help in creating more employment opportunities, and rejuvenate the spirit of creativity in the youth.
The member representing Njikoka 1 in the State House of Assembly, Hon Timothy Ifedoramma notified that the Governor sustained the tempo of the state’s economy, irrespective of the crisis of economic crunch.
He urged the people to support APGA by voting massively come November 18th election.
The former National Chairman of APGA, Sir Victor Umeh, stated that no other political party had the requisite administrative experience and pedigree to champion the unity of Igbo.
Umeh said Governor Obiano had recorded qualitative results in piloting the affairs of the state positively.
