The Board Chairman further mandated the Committee to arrest and prosecute all illegal Revenue Collectors found across the State and liaise with any person or group of persons who may have useful information about illegal Revenue Operators in the State.

The Committee, according to Dr. Ambita’a, is to provide monthly Report of their operations as well as other noble activities.

While expressing dismay over the activities of illegal Revenue Collectors in the State, the Board Chairman added that the monies collected are diverted into private pockets thereby denying Government of revenue meant to improve the lives of the citizenry.

He assured members of the Committee of the Board’s cooperation in the discharge of their special assignment, stressing that the State Government, as well as the Board have confidence on them over the onerous assignment.

Responding on behalf of his Colleagues, the Chairman of the Special Task Force Committee on illegal Revenue Collection, Mr. Joseph Musa thanked the Board for the assignment, describing it as tasking.

Musa, who solicits for cooperation from the members of the Public to enable them succeed, also assured justifying the confidence reposed on them.
