Suicide bomb kills five, injures 45 in Maiduguri

According to the Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), five people were killed while scores wounded following explosion caused by suicide bomb in the outskirts of Maiduguri, the state capital on Sunday.
The head of emergency response operations of Borno SEMA, Kachalla Usman stated this in Maiduguri adding that two female suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosives Device (IED) vests strapped to their bodies in a crowded place at Muna-Dalti area of Maiduguri on Saturday night.
Among the dead are three persons and two suicide bombers while 45 others sustained various degrees of injuries in the blast, saying that two of the deceased died while on admission in the hospital.
