STF parades two suspects in connection with IPOB reprisal attack in Jos

Two out of numerous notorious gangsters who unleashed havoc in Jos, two weeks back, as a result of the agitation in the southeast by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was on Friday paraded along with 15 other armed bandits, by the Special Task Force code name Operation Save Haven (OPSH).
The suspects were found with two Ak47, four locally made rifle and 1 locally made pistol, as narrated by the Spokesperson for the Special Task Force, Captain Adams Umar.
Umar said the 15 other suspects paraded were involved in various criminal activities within the state, especially at the popular Hawan-Kibo express way leading to Abuja and Nasarawa State, where bandits has constantly robbed commuters daily.
His words, “we have arrested two persons in connection to the tension experienced in Jos and Bukuru axis two weeks ago, alongside with other 15 armed robbers unleashing terror in the State.
“The 15 suspects were arrested between August and September in connection with various criminal crime within Plateau ranging from rape, abduction, burglary, extortion and cultists popularly known as Sara-Suka in Hausa (Cut and Kill boys), terrorizing the city of Jos, with specialty in using locally made weapons to unleash terror on their victims”, he said.
The STF Spokesperson also use the opportunity to warn trouble shooters who would want to ferment trouble during the 1st October celebration to refrain from doing so as the task-force will not spare anyone who is caught in trouble
