Stanbic IBTC stockbroker’s 19.61% 8 months’ turnover driven by IT

The high turnover volume of transactions recorded by Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited (SISL) month on month (M/M), has been attributed to its robust IT platform placed at the disposal of investors.
The company, in eight months, recorded N299.59billion value transaction, credited to the deployment of its online platform, which created positive ripple effect to their activity structure and portfolio management.
Infoware technologies, in its recent report titled “Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited records N299.59bn trading in 8 months, attributes success to their Online Trading Platform, said that in the last few months, the Nigeria stock exchange (NSE) has recorded N1.08 trillion worth of transactions pulled by top 10 stock brokerage companies in Nigeria, adding that Stanbic IBTC took the lead in the ranking, clutching 19.61 per cent of the total recorded transactions amounting to N299.59 billion.
According to Infoware, Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers’ (SISL) attributed the growth in their NSE volume to deep insight into the market, analytical research, effective execution, and close customer relationship among other qualities driven by information technology.
This technology, the company said, “is fashioned to deliver real-time market data and provide a platform for immediate execution of trades on the exchange floor of the NSE and also enabling investors to make informed investment decisions.
