ST. Eve West African Fashion Week, “Fashion On The Street 2017” hits runway May 26

St Eve West African Fashion Week themed “Fashion on the Street 2017” is a three-day fashion event set to hold from the May 26th to 28th 2017 at Eko Atlantic City.
Fashion on the Street 2017” will focus on discovering creative individuals all over West Africa and give them a platform to shine.
St EVE Magazine is notable for its involvement in the promotion and organisation of various Fashion Events and Concerts
In 2012 it organised the successful “Summer Jam Fest” with international musician, Rick Ross; in 2013, it was a fashion show tagged “St Eve Fashion on the Terrace at Intercontinental Hotel, St Eve West African Fashion week” with the theme “Fashion in the Savannah” held in 2014, at Eko Hotel and Suites Victoria Island.
Last year, it organised “St Eve West African Fashion week”, themed “FASHION IS ART”.
“This year, like the past years we are organising another fashion show themed ” FASHION ON THE STREET’’. We have realized that most of the fashion trends all over the world got their inspiration from the street; roads, market, plants, flowers, hence, St. Eve is focusing on discovering creative individuals from the street, giving them a platform to shine, there are thousands of undiscovered designers, models, photographers hair stylist, make-up artiste looking for the right opportunity. For this reason Olajumoke Orisaguna is the face of this year’s show!
“For a fantastic fashion show we will be needing a stage, but the people to make this happen is where we are laying the foundation and the foundation is on the street. This is why this year’s fashion show is themed “FASHION ON THE STREET”.
“Designers, Models, Makeup Artiste, hair stylist and photographers will be picked from each zone to compete for the grand finale in Lagos. The winner will walk away with N500,000, second prize- N250,000, third prize N125,000. and all will have international exposure. They will also join St. Eve as a team on a visit to give back to the less privileged on the street.
“We also plan to showcase garments of over 30 designers from different countries in Africa. We are working very hard to be Africa’s biggest fashion brand, capturing innovative thoughts into a sellable reality. This time we want to present you a ground breaking runway,” Evelyn Okere, the brainchild behind St Eve West African Fashion Week said it would be a phenomenal show for guests and a life changing opportunity for participants.
