Agu joins Bursaspor on loan
Turkish Super Lig club Bursaspor have announced that they have struck a deal with Portuguese setup Porto over the loaning of Mikel Agu. The Nigeria international midfielder has joined The Green Crocodiles on a season-long loan. Agu trained for the first time with his new teammates on Tuesday, and could make his competitive debut for his new employer when they take on Musa Mohammed’s İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. on Friday.
Ajax Cape Town sign Uzoenyi

South African Premier Soccer League Ajax Cape Town have announced the acquisition of Nigeria international Ejike Uzoenyi.
The former Enugu Rangers poster boy has appended his signature to a four-year deal, tying him to the Urban Warriors until 2021.
Uzoenyi is very popular in South Africa thanks to his imperious display for the Nigeria squad at the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN), where he was named the Player of the Tournament.
After the tourney, the diminutive winger had an unsuccessful spell at Mamelodi Sundowns before moving to Bidvest Wits.
Murray pulls out of Cincinnati Masters
World number one Andy Murray has withdrawn from the Cincinnati Masters because of an ongoing hip injury. The Scot had pulled out of the Rogers Cup with the same injury, which also hampered July’s Wimbledon campaign.
The 30-year-old could lose his number one ranking to Spain’s Rafael Nadal and is a doubt for the US Open, which starts on August 28. The US Open – the final Grand Slam of the season – runs until September 10 in New York.
Chelsea will miss Costa, says Cahill
Chelsea captain Gary Cahill admits the Premier League champions will miss the ostracised Diego Costa this season.
Blues head coach Antonio Conte has informed the Spain striker he is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, with the pair having fallen out in January over Chelsea’s reported refusal to allow Costa to move to the Chinese Super League.
Costa has been Chelsea’s top scorer in each of his three seasons with the Blues, including two title wins, and remains at the club, with Atletico Madrid’s interest in re-signing the striker complicated by their transfer ban.
