The Senate committee on Foreign Affairs has commenced screening of 47 ambassadorial nominees appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari. This was disclosed by our correspondent in the National Assembly.

Present at the meeting are Monsurat Summonu, the chairman Senate committee on foreign affairs, Shehu Sanni, representing Kaduna Central senatorial district, James Manager, representing Delta South senatorial district and Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to President and the 47 nominees among others. President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, June 9, released the list of Ambassadorial nominees.
