Sen Nyako donates ambulance, motorcycles to constituency

A senator, Mr. Abdul-Azeez Nyako, representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, has donated an ambulance and more than 100 motorcycles to his constituency.

Presenting the donation, in Yola, Nyako said that the ambulance would be presented to Hong Cottage Hospital, while the motorcycles would be distributed to some farmers in the seven local government areas of the zone to facilitate their activities.

He said that he was trying to talk to relevant authorities to see how the total ban on the use of motorcycle in the state would be lifted, particularly in areas where there was no more serious security threat.

“We had placed an order for the motorcycles before the total ban by the military for security reason.

“With the gradual improvement on security in the state, I will try and talk to relevant authorities to see how the ban can be reviewed, particularly in areas where there is no more activities by insurgents, so that our farmers can make a maximum use of their motorcycles,” Nyako said.

He lauded the electorate for their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government and urged them not to despair as President Muhammadu Buhari was committed to ensuring a change for good in the governance of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, lauded Nyako and other elected party members for what he described as “quality representation”.

Bilal, who was represented by his deputy, Mr. Samaila Tadawus, also urged the electorate to continue to show support and understanding with APC administration in its effort to change things for the better.
