Schoolgirl died on Drayton Manor water ride from chest injuries

Evha Jannath, 11, was on a school trip when she was thrown out of the Splash Canyon ride at the attraction in Tamworth, Staffordshire, last Tuesday.
Theme park staff dragged her from the water and she was airlifted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
But despite doctors’ efforts to save her, Evha, from Leicester, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at hospital.
Staffordshire Police today revealed a post mortem had concluded that she had died from chest injuries.
A spokesperson for the force said: ‘Following the incident last week at Drayton Manor Park in which Evha Jannath tragically lost her life, we can confirm the post mortem has taken place.
