Sacked PenCom DG evades DSS

The sacked former Director General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Mrs Chinelo Anohu- Amazu, is now having a running battle with the Department of State Services (DSS), following her refusal to honour the invitation of the secret police.
The DSS had directed the embattled ex- PenCom boss to appear before it on Monday over the controversy on her failure to hand over in good time and the alleged tampering of documents.
The Daily Times had exclusively reported on Saturday that Anohu-Amazu refused to hand-over and was given instructions as at Friday in spite of her removal by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Though Anohu-Amazu reportedly handed over to a senior official of the commission on Monday, she was said to have ignored the DSS’ invitation.
The development was said to have prompted the DSS operatives to be on her trail with a view to arresting her.
A source close to the matter also confided in The Daily Times last night that the DSS operatives are now checking for Anohu-Amazu’s whereabouts so as to compel her to answer to some of the allegations.
