Reco Jefferson shares Expert Advice on how to succeed despite the pandemic

Becoming a successful entrepreneur takes drive, determination, and passion. Reco Jefferson went from growing up poor to being an e-commerce entrepreneur earning a seven-figure income.

Now, he shares expert advice that he learned along the way.

Jefferson says that determination and drive are essential for making it as a business. “I just knew things were going to get better.

I had seen so many people in my respective spaces make it and that it was only a matter of time for myself.

There really was no choice but to see it through and win.” This drive helped him overcome the negativity of naysayers or critics.

He further says, “Don’t listen to the naysayers. Everyone has an opinion about what you can become, and they’re usually wrong.

If you’re truly putting in the work every single day, then the results will come.”

That aspect of putting in the work every day is particularly important for success, according to Jefferson. “You have to show up every single day,” he says.

“Forming good, small habits will lend to larger ones in the future.

Habits lead to structure that will enable you to build up your business.”

In addition to his general advice for putting in the effort and determination, Jefferson has gleaned specific advice over the years. One example of this is his approach to marketing.

“Put out good, honest free content first on your social media platforms and then use paid ads to fill in the gaps for people that may not know you just yet.”

This is the approach Jefferson took when building his Amazon automation business, and he ended up only using free content on social media without any paid advertising.

Jefferson also encourages entrepreneurs to carefully evaluate their ideas.

“Learn your market and have an honest look at if your product is necessary.”

When Jefferson first became an entrepreneur, it was a response to his need for money. He initially worked as a software engineer after serving in the Air Force.

As he explains, “I fell into the dropshipping world by chance and used the money from my software career to grow my business.”

In the future, Jefferson hopes to focus more on business consulting. That way, young entrepreneurs can take his advice to heart with confidence.

Jefferson believes in the abilities of up-and-coming entrepreneurs. With his passion for growing businesses, he has learned what is possible.

He says, “If someone has enough drive and common sense, they can reach the same level of success.”
