Ranieri pens extended Leicester deal

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has signed a new four-year contract, the Premier League champions have confirmed. Ranieri, 64, enjoyed the crowning moment of a nomadic career last season when he masterminded Leicester’s improbable title triumph in England’s top flight. Leicester begin their Premier League defence against newly promoted Hull City on Saturday.

Liverpool got ´perfect´ deals for Ibe, Smith—Klopp
Jurgen Klopp claims Liverpool received “perfect” deals in the sales of Jordon Ibe and Brad Smith to Bournemouth. Both were unlikely to feature much in the first-team this season, with Klopp electing to off-load the pair rather than send them on loan. Ibe was sold to Bournemouth for £15million in July, before left-back Smith joined the winger at Dean Court in a £6m transfer.

Everton complete Williams signing
Everton have announced the signing of centre-back Ashley Williams from Swansea City for an undisclosed fee. The Wales international has signed a three-year deal with Ronald Koeman’s side, who are reported to have paid a free in the region of £12million.
