After turning up late to the event, Government Secondary School, Minna would hope to overcome fatigue to earn a winning start against Government Day Secondary School, Bokkos on Wednesday.

The clash of government schools promises harvest of goals as they take to the pitch at the Kwara Stadium in a quest to challenge group leaders Fosla Academy for the top spot.

Both sides will be having their first taste of the age-grade tournament after they both qualified to represent their respective states after emerging champions.

 

Kwara vs. Cross Rivers

Socrates Secondary School, Ilorin will battle Akeem Government Secondary School who lost 3-2 to Benue on Wednesday.

The hosts will be eager to consolidate on their impressive opening day success but must avoid errors against their Cross Rivers counterparts who desperately seek to bounce back.

The encounter will be Wednesday opening clash at the Sheik Abdulkadir College pitch in Ilorin regionals.

 

FCT vs. Niger

Highflying Fosla Academy will be hoping to ensure a hundred percent start when they take on Government Day Secondary School, Bokkos at the Kwara Stadium.

Aside Fosla’s dreams to stay atop, Ilorin regionals opening day man of the match winner and top scorer Prosper Ojukwu will be hoping to increase his goals tally against the Minna based school.

For Niger, clipping the wings of Ojukwu who has been firing on all cylinders will be their biggest task to stopping the FCT representatives.

 

Nasarawa vs. Plateau

After recording a massive defeat against Fosla Academy, Government College, Keffi will aim to get their campaign back on track against Government Day Secondary School, Bokkos.

This clash will no doubt reignite the rivalry between north central neighbours as they try each other for size with three points at stake.

 

Benue vs. Kogi

After a losing start against Kwara, Alh-Azhan International College, Lokoja must avoid errors against Mbagwa Community Secondary School when they meet at the Sheik Abdulkadir College pitch.

The Benue side came from behind to record a 3-2 victory against Cross Rivers in their opening clash in the Ilorin regionals playoff.
