Trump’s nomination is coming weeks after he helped seal a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Daily Times gathered that Trump was nominated by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, who told Fox News that for his merit, Trump deserved it.

Gjedde said, “For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.

Meanwhile Donald Trump last month  took to Twitter to announce the “historical deal” struck between Israel and UEA, one which the United States had helped broker. He is also set to hold a signing ceremony on September 15 for the ground breaking agreement aimed at normalising relations between the two Middle Eastern nations.
