Police nab man for cutting wife’s fingers for ritual

The Ondo State Police Command has apprehended a 42 year-old man, ldowu Benson at Oba-ile in Akure north area for chopping off two fingers of his wife, for alleged money ritual.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Femi Joseph confirmed that the suspect confessed to have put on a mask during the attack.

The man who was said to be armed with cutlass pretended to be an assassin and invaded his own house located off Akure/Owo expressway, Oba – Ile and attacked his wife, Kemi

Reports have it that during the attack, the husband was said to have informed the wife on gaining entrance into the house that he was sent to kill her and in the process matcheted her on the head and cut off two of her fingers.
