Pillars ace Shagari named man of the match
Kano Pillars midfielder Mohammed Shagari was picked as man of the match in his team’s 2-0 home win over FC IfeanyiUbah.
On Sunday, he assisted in both goals and the win propelled Pillars to second place on the table with a game in hand.
Shagari was voted the star performer on the day by the journalists who covered the match.
He dedicated the award to the entire team with a special mention for defender Jonathan Zikiye, who got married at the weekend and so missed the match.
