PDP rally: Kano turnout is revolution against Buhari says Secondus

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus has described the mamooth crowd that attended the party’s Presidential campaign rally in the ancient city of Kano on Sunday as a revolution against President Muhammadu Buhari . Highly elated Secondus said the unprecedented crowd that locked down Kano indicated rejection of the Buhari- led All Progressives Congress (APC) government which has impoverished Nigerians more than it met them when it came to power in 2015. Secondus said it was obvious that the Kano State Government had wanted to deny the PDP usage of the Sani Abacha Stadium because of the fear that thecturn out if people of Kano will put his government and President Buhari to shame.
Less than ten minutes drive distance from the Airport to the tomb of the great talakwaa politician Aminu Kano for prayer took the candidate over an hour and even more than that to get to the palace of the Emir of Kano for courtesy visit. You must be convinced that you cannot come to Kano to rig election. “We call on INEC and security agencies to see what is going on in Kano. It is like a revolution and the people have turned around, they have agreed that they will vote for PDP and therefore on the 16th of February, come out in your numbers, vote for PDP, vote for Atiku. “He will restore security. He will make sure that jobs are created and he will put food on the table of Nigerians. By the special grace of God, Atiku Abubakar is the next President of Nigeria. And Abba is the next governor of Kano”, he said The PDP Presidential candidate promised revival of businesses that were freely”. down due to the bad economic policies of the APC administration, adding that the PDP government under his watch will ensure peaceful atmosphere where businesses can thrive. Atiku told the people “If you vote for PDP my own promise is to revive the wealth of Kano which is business.
Kano’s wealth is agriculture. If you vote for PDP I will return your wealth, create environment for businesses to thrive and empower farmers. “These people have killed your businesses and farming. I promise you all that I will create wealth and businesses if you vote for PDP. After that, I will also allow you to live freely.
At the palace of the Emir, the Presidential candidate Atiku told Sanusi Sanusi that he was in the palace with his team to seek his blessing before going to address his subject for votes. The Emir urged politicians to play by the rule and ensure a free, fair and credible election. The hero of the Kwakwasiyya group and the former Governor of Ksno state, Dr Rabiu Kwakwaso led the pack of other leaders including the Presidential candidate Atiku, the National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, the Vice Presidential candidate Peter Obi and the Senate President and the Director General of the campaign Dr Bukola Saraki to praise the crowd and pronounced APC dead in Kano. Senator Kwankwaso who was hardly allowed to addressed the crowd at the stadium amid cheering of ‘ Kwanjwassiya’ that rented the air, simply said he has brought Atiku, Secondus, Saraki and other leaders iof the PDP to Kano in fulfilment of his promised to present to them the candidate to be voted for on February 16 as Nigeria’s next President. “Today the 10 of February, 2019 God has brought before you all Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), today see Atiku Abubakar in Kano with a red cap, with white clothe and black shoe. ” Today see Secondus in Kano with red cap, white clothe and black show.
