PDP blasts APC economic policy
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 18 gubernatorial election in Anambra state, Mr. Henry Obaze, has condemned in strong terms the recent economic policy introduced by the All Progressive Congress (APC) led federal government.
In a press release distributed by his media coordinator, Mr. Chima Christian, the PDP flagbearer regretted that the present APC led administration had caused economic deflation and attracted unwarranted hardship to the people. He however assured Nigerians of future hope under a PDP government.
According to him “First, it (the country’s 57th anniversary) is being celebrated against the backdrop of excruciating recession caused by poor economic judgment of the APC-led federal government and
exacerbated by the reckless fiscal policies and related expenditure of our state government. Secondly, the celebration is coming up at a period of great expectations by all of us at the prospect of a regime change in our dear State.
“I see a bright light at the end of the tunnel, a hope kindled by our belief that with your support in the forthcoming governorship election I will be in the position to transform the governance mode of our dear state and provide the leadership skills required for 21st century Anambra State. Surely, you will agree with me that Anambra Deserves Better,” Obaze added.
He however urged the people of the State to secure their vote and vote according to their conscience without intimidation.
Mr. Obaze charged Nigerians to always pray for leaders in authority for divine direction in decision making.
