“We brought our youths here to get the skill that will help them in party administration and participate actively in next year’s general election”, he said.

Earlier, the state Coordinator of IRI, Ani Chukwueze said the young leadership political academy programme was designed to bring young people, the marginalized, the youths within the political party together to acquire necessary skills that will help in advancement of democracy in the country.

“It is quiet unfortunate that most of the youths don’t see themselves as having the right to participate in electoral process, but we are trying to make them have self confidence and equip them with the necessary knowledge that can help them better our democracy”.
