Osinbajo’s wife charges Benue youth on integrity

Wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dalopo Osinbajo has charged Benue state youth to see themselves as destined for greatness and be responsible in their actions and utterances.

Mrs. Osinbajo, who spoke during a town hall meeting with youths in the state, advised them to use their names in such a way that would bring honour to their families, state and the country, pointing out that the world is still waiting for them to make discoveries that would write their names in gold.

The Vice President’s wife addressing the 49th Benue Women in Prayer Convocation at the Chapel of Grace said whenever a virtuous woman prays to God, wonderful things happen.

She had earlier commissioned the ultra-modern Mama Abayol Orphanage Home and the Benue Centre for Enterprise Development and Innovation all in Makurdi, where she prayed to God to direct the affairs of the institutions.

Responding, Governor Samuel Ortom appreciated the motherly counsel of Mrs. Osinbajo and expressed hopes that the youths would be inspired to make a turn-around for the good of the society.

The governor stated that as a young man, he passed through thick and thin and did menial jobs to make ends meet, stressing however, that all his commitments ultimately paid off as he is today the governor of Benue state.

Handing over the two facilities for commissioning, the governor said he and his wife were touched by the complete dilapidation of facilities at the orphanage home and the need to impart skills into the Benue youth.
