Orile-Agege teams battle for Ayantayo Cup

The 1st Afolabi Ayantayo Football Championship will kick off today at the Oba Sanni Arewa Playground, Ile Pako, Agege with four teams gunning for glory.

The championship, which is been organised and sponsored by Hon Dipo Liadi and a few of his friends, is aimed at fostering peace and promote friendship among youths in Agege.

Liadi stated that the Orile-Agege APC Chairmanship candidate Hon. Afolabi Ayantayo has expressed his delight at the concept of the championship with pledge to make subsequent editions bigger with participation of more teams.

The tournament will feature four teams namely Team Opeifa, Team Adaranijo, Team Samuel and Team Ajayi. Winners will go home with medals, cash prizes and trophy.
