Ondo poll: Wike thanks judiciary, urges Ondo electorate to vote for Jegede

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has commended the Judiciary for standing by the truth by reinstating Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ondo State despite the intimidation and harassment by entrenched political interests.

Reacting to the Court of Appeal judgment on the PDP candidate for Ondo State, Governor Wike advised Nigerians not to lose hope in the Judiciary no matter the level of attacks on judicial officers by the powers that be .

He said no matter the level of intimidation by the powers that be, there are resilient judicial officers who will always enthrone the rule of law in the country.

The Governor then urged the people of Ondo State to vote massively for Jegede so that he can continue with the giant development strides of outgoing Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
