OMICRON Variant: CSOs Laud UK Nigerian Government
The Global Peace Empowerment advocacy and development Director General, Ambassador Badamasi Ibrahim sadiq has applauded the decision of UK government over lifting the Ban on south African travelers after the emergence of Omicron variants.
He said international community must unite with African counterparts to agree on policies that will improve global economy maintaining that stopping south African airways and travelers will have caused serious economic setback with little or no benefit.
According to Sadiq, after the first meeting of south African /Nigeria Youth Dialogue committee supervised by Federal ministry of Youths development in Abuja, Covid 19 has made the world loose millions of jobs hence increasing poverty conflicts in our local communities and distorted global economic calculations.
Ibrahim welcomed the participation of Sarigbe Sekibo president National youth council of Nigeria NANS Africa Union Ecossoc and other relevant civil society groups to the South African Nigerian dialogue as he called on Africa Leaders to embrace unity in policy decision as doing that will restore Africa pride in committee of Nations.
