OGSWC, CLACCS Associates sign MOU to strengthen water sector

The Ogun State Water Cooperation (OGSWC ), in its bid to further strengthen the State water sector, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a private firm, CLACCS Associates, on distribution of clean and regular water supply across the nooks and crannies of the State.

Signing the MOU at the Corporation Conference Room in Abeokuta, the General Manager, OGSWC, Alhaja Monsurat Agboola, through her Media Aide, Mrs. Ebulomo Tayese, said the importance of the MOU could not be over emphasized, adding that it would benefit the rural, semi urban and urban areas of the State.

She said apart from improving on the law guiding the supply of water to the people, the company would on regular basis, interface with the State Government to further strengthen water policy and sanctions were necessary.
