Odesola hits Cinema with ‘Journey to Egypt’

A new movie ‘Journey to Egypt’ by Special Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Administration & Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola, has been premiered almost two months after the first movie titled Scars of Joy which was acted in the United Kingdom and Nigeria.

It would be recalled that Odesola recently premiered a movie Scars of Joy in the cinema.
The movie was directed by Seun Jonathan and produced by Faith-Lift productions Nigeria Limited. It is a story of warning to Nigerian youths who flee abroad in search of greener pastures but end up being deported after illegal procurement of document.

In the movie, Richard the lead character played by Shola Oyin-Adejobi traveled to UK with his friend Femi played by Seun Jonathan, to further their education.

The two friends were advised by a Nigerian UKI based to engage in illegal marriage with a citizen of the land in order to get their permanent stay but both rejected the idea on the basis that they are born again Christians but Richard went back and agreed to the arranged wedding.

Later he was set up by the same friend who introduced the idea to him and was arrested and later deported to Nigeria..
