Odemwingie scores in Bristol's six-goal thriller

Nigeria striker, Peter Odemwingie, was among the goalscorers for his English Championship side, Bristol City, as they thrashed Bolton Wanderers 6-0 at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
The 34-year-old forward played from start to finish and scored the third goal in the six-nil romping of Bolton.
Third minute into the game, Odemwingie set up Joe Bryan whose effort was saved by Bolton’s American goalkeeper, Paul Rabchubka.
Seconds later, Aaron Wilbraham opened scoring for the Robins before Lee Tomlin doubled the lead on 10 minutes.
Odemwingie would have had an assist to his name in the 18th minute if Tomlin’s attempt at goal was not blocked by Bolton’s defence.
Eight minutes into the restart, Odemwingie fired in City’s third goal. The striker drilled a left-footed shot from outside of the box into the bottom right corner after Wilbraham headed the ball into his path.
Further goals from Scott Wagstaff, Jonathan Kodjia and Bryan completed the rout on Bolton.
Odemwingie has now made two appearances for Bristol City in the English second tier since he joined on loan from Stoke City.
