Obuah, former CSO to Jonathan, dies in Abuja

A former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Godwin Obuah, is dead.
According to an online medium, TheCable, the late Obuah passed on at the National Hospital, Abuja, on Thursday after reportedly suffering “massive heart attack”.
The Department of State Services (DSS) was said to have arrested Obuah two months after Jonathan left power.
He was later detained at the headquarters of the agency.
Obuah reportedly embarked on hunger strike to protest his detention while DSS later released him after his lawyer raised the alarm over his health condition.
The late former CSO was accused of benefiting from an oil bunkering deal, an allegation he denied but the panel which investigated him was dissatisfied with his explanation and recommended his dismissal from the DSS. He was later dismissed from service.
