‘OBASEKI WILL DELIVER ON CAMPAIGN PROMISES’

John Mayaki, a former aide of the former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has restated that the new governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki, would hit the ground running.

He told Daily Times that the residents of the state should be on the lookout for the manifold of good tiding awaiting them in the coming years.

“The people of Edo State are in for a good deal in the years ahead. Governor Obaseki is going to hit the ground running.”

“He has a lot of people-oriented programmes in the offing ranging from empowerment to skills acquisition.”

“The Governor is also concerned about the issue of unemployment. So, to address the issue he has promised to create an enabling environment for foreign investors whereby they will come and set up businesses here and employ our youth.”

“Also health facilities would be constructed or improved upon. A healthy populace is a thing of pride,” he asserted.
