NUJ loses chairman in Kano
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano state chapter has lost its chairman, Alhaji Abduljala Haruna.
Abduljalal passed away at his Giginyu residence Nassarawa GRA on Wednesday evening as a result of partial paralysis which he suffered from.
Chairman of the Correspondent chapel in the state, Mr. Edwin Francis Olofu, also confirmed his death.
He has since been buried on Thursday morning according to Islamic rites.
Well wishers and loved ones have been trooping into his residence to commiserate with the bereaved family.
