NSE rallies funds for cancer Jul 1

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the society and getting results, through its annual programme “corporate challenge,” deployed to mobilize funds to cater for cancer patients.
According to the NSE, the 4th edition of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Corporate Challenge tagged “eRace Cancer 2.0” will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Onikan Stadium, King George V Road, Onikan, Lagos State.
The NSE Corporate Challenge is an annuall, highly competitive and fun-filled 5 kilometre walk, run and jog competition designed to raise awareness and funds for the purchase of 37 Mobile Cancer Centers (MCCs), each valued at $613,000 each”.
The Corporate Challenge, Daily Times recalls, provides opportunity for positive competition among corporate teams, as well as a chance to network within the business community – your rival on the race course could be your next partner in business.
The NSE , re-emphasized that all proceeds from the competition will be geared towards procuring Mobile Cancer Centers across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) .
The exchange enjoined corporate organizations and good spirited philanthropists, to join over 1000 runners from more than 170 listed companies, broker-dealer firms, non-listed companies and the Nigerian entertainment industry, “as we run to erase cancer.
