NPFL: Wolves beat Plateau Utd in rescheduled tie

Warri Wolves pipped visiting Plateau United 2-1 on Monday in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League tie, which was initially cancelled off the previous day due to heavy downpour.
Wolves are now 12th on the table with 30 points from 22 matches, while Plateau are 18th on 23 points.
Uche Cyprian put the home team ahead after 12 minutes, before Joshua Obaje equalised for Plateau in the 77th minute.
However, Wolves clinched all three points when Achibi Ewenike fired home the match winner three minutes from time.
