NIGER DELTA CRISIS: EX-AGITATORS BOW TO EXPOSE PIPELINE VANDALS

The ex-Niger Delta Agitators have expressed a readiness to expose pipeline vandals.

They also assured the Federal Government of their preparedness to protect oil pipelines and installations in the region.

The group made the resolve during a meeting with Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, retired Brigadier General Paul Boroh in Benin City, Edo State.

A statement issued after the meeting said it focused on fostering peace and stability in the region. They were also said to have pledged their support for government’s Agricultural Empowerment Programmes.

For his part, Boroh gave his words on Government’s commitment to improving the lives of all beneficiaries and youths in the region
