NASS postpones resumption to Feb. 26

The National Assembly has shifted the resumption of plenary in both the Senate and House of Representatives. Resumption of plenary of both chambers earlier scheduled for February 19 has been rescheduled for February 26, 2019. Announcement of the new date was contained in a notice of resumption signed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani Omolori. Though the clerk did not give any specific reason for rescheduling the resumption, but it might not be unconnected with the one week extension by INEC for the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections
