Naija FM 102.7 celebrates 8th year anniversary

…Announces November 4th for “2018 comedy jam and award night”
Plans are in full gear for the 7th Edition of the Naija FM Comedy Jam and Award Night for the year 2018!

The announcement was made by the Programs Director of the popular indigenous Radio station, Osamoje Isaac, during a week-long celebration to mark the “eighth anniversary” of Naija FM 102.7.

As part of Naija fm’s anniversary celebrations, the On Air Personalities had hit the streets on a CSR drive, controlling traffic in different parts of Lagos State.

Osamoje Isaac had stated that “the essence of the week long traffic control drive was to enable its teeming listeners feel the pulse of the personalities they interact with on a daily basis on their favourite radio station!”

Branded T shirts, baseball hats, bags, umbrellas and other souvenirs were also distributed during the rave, which culminates with the annual Comedy Jam and Award Night billed for Sunday the 4th of November, 2018 at the Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos at 6pm.

Guests will be thrilled with scintillating comedy performances by usual suspects Akpororo, Gordons, Bow Joint, Kenny Blaq, Seyi Law, Malam Spencer, AY, Baba K, Princewill and a whole lot more.

Music will be provided by Timaya, Kcee, Falz, Mayourkun, Slimcase, Jo el, Niniola, Seyi Shey, Orezi, Koko Pee, Aunty Rayzor Pasuma and many more.

The categories as tradition for the Comedy Jam and Award Night are for Online Comedian of the year include; Sitcom of the year; Comedian of the year; Most promising Comedian of the year; Comedy actor of the Year; Most Fashionable Comedian of the Year; Comedy Club of the year and Best Comedy Show of the Year.

According to organizers, one of the Highpoints of the night will be the presentation of the prestigious HALL OF FAME AWARD to be awarded to an icon in the industry.

The annual event is traditionally attended by a capacity crowd made up of the station’s listeners, entertainment and showbiz personalities, and Captains of Industry who take time out to enjoy performances by A-list artistes.
