My goal is to become international producer – Chime Tsnare, R&B artiste

Musicians generally basked in the glamour of the moment, and many would not want to be bothered about the future, but R&B artiste, Chime Tsnare, is one of the few exceptions in the sense that he is already looking forward to the future.

“In the next 10 years, I see myself helping other artistes and producing them as an international musician and producer,” he declares at a red carpet event where he was spotted recently.

The disclosure from him was in response to a question about his plan as the year 2019 gradually winds up.

While talking randomly about the life of musicians, Chime Tsnare, whose real name is Amakiri Chimeleadhu, avows that serious or career musicians hardly forget the first time the world appreciated their music.

“Such a time will always remain evergreen for as long as the artiste’s career lasted,” he submits.

Recalling his own most memorable moment, Chime Tsnare says: “The first time I sang in front of the crowd in secondary school, I got a tremendous reaction from the crowd as they screamed so much appreciating the sound that was coming from me.

It was hilarious and surprising for me. I never expected that kind of reaction from the crowd.”

Having gone through the process, the R&B artist-cum-producer has an idea of what it takes for up-and-coming artistes to hit the limelight quickly.

“Getting marketable content is the first step; having the right promotional budget to sponsor the marketing and promotion to enable the world to get to know about the brand is another, and these are not easy to get,” he articulates.

Chime Tsnare advises aspiring musicians to be patient and to believe in their talents and work daily to hone their musical skills. “Most importantly, trust in God and let Him guide your steps,” he says.
