Matip set for Liverpool return
Defender Joel Matip is expected to be fit for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with West Ham at Anfield on Sunday. The 25-year-old has been the stand-out performer in the Reds’ back-line since joining the club from Schalke last summer. Liverpool have only once conceded more than a single goal with the Cameroun international in the starting line-up and have not lost a game. Matip sat out Sunday’s trip to Bournemouth with an ankle injury and was badly missed as Liverpool threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 at the Vitality Stadium.
