LG FAs debunk Longbap endorsement as Plateau Utd GM

The seventeen Local Government Football Association chairmen in Plateau State have debunked rumours that they have endorsed the chairman of the Plateau State Football Association, Hon. Sunday Longbap, as the General Manager of Plateau United Football Club of Jos.
The chairmen in a Press Statement signed by the FA chairman of Mangu, Hon. Isa Musa and FA chairman Kanke, Hon. Emmanuel Musa dispelled the rumour.
“It has become necessary for us the FA chairmen of the Seventeen LGC of Plateau State football Association as one of the major stakeholders in the state to dispel the rumour making the rounds that we have endorsed the chairman of Plateau State Football Association, Hon. Sunday Longbap, as General Manager of Plateau United Football Club of Jos”.
According to them what is required for all football stakeholders in Plateau State is the total support to the new General Manager of the Plateau United club, Mr Pius Henwan, who is an experienced football administrator in the state that is working very hard for the success of the club in the current season and establish the team as a formidable force in the NPFL.
The football chairmen said Plateau United were denied promotion to the NPFL after five seasons in the National League before the last season which was almost stolen by enemies of the club within and outside the state who have been sabotaging and are still sabotaging the club for their personal interest.
They however appealed to all football stakeholders in the state to rally round the administration of Governor Simon Lalong who appointed the new General Manager to bring back the lost glory of the great football club in Plateau State.
