Late Rivers CP to be buried on Friday 17th

The Rivers state police command has released the burial arrangement of the late Police Commissioner of the state, Mr. Francis Mobolaji Odesanya, as announced by his family.
The late commissioner died on Tuesday January 31, this year, at the age of 56 years after a brief illness at Sterling Hospital Ahmedabad-Gujarat in India.
A statement issued by the command and signed by DSP Nnamdi Omoni, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the command said that the burial arrangement of the commissioner which would start on Monday 13, 2017, would end with his interment on Friday 17, at the vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos, after a requiem mass at the St. Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba, Lagos.
The statement said that the arrangement was as announced by the family.
Mr. Adesanya who was Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, Finance and Administration in the state police command before he was transferred out of the state, was returned to the State in July, 2016, as the 37th police commissioner to take over from Mr. Foluso Adebanjo, the current Deputy Inspector General of Police.
Late Commissioner Adesanya was enlisted into the Force on February 1, 1986, as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police from where he rose to his last position.
He hailed from Ikenne Town, Ogun State.
