Lagos PDP Removes Chairman, Installs Successor
The crisis rocking the leadership of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) is claimed its first casualty as the Executive Committee of the Lagos chapter of the party has removed the party’s chairman, Mr Tunji Shelle.
The Lagos EXCO of the PDP reached its decision after a disciplinary committee was set up to investigate some allegations levelled against the removed chairman.
Subsequently, the EXCO appointed Mr Olounje to hold the office in acting capacity.
