Lagos Junior League seminar holds Aug. 16

All is now set for the first Lagos Junior League Football Seminar which comes up on August 16, 2017 at the sports bar of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

Nigeria Football Association (NFF) Technical Director, now Executive Secretary of the Lagos Junior League, Tunde Disu (OFR) confirmed that the seminar is aimed at getting the best for the league and Lagos State Football generally.

Disu, an ex-Super Eagles chief coach hinted that some technocrats would be resource fellows at the Lagos Junior League Seminar.

“Yes, it’s part of our plans towards making Lagos the number one state in Nigeria football development. We expect players, coaches, club owners, sports journalists, referees and others to know more about youth football development, crowd management and laws of the game,” Disu began.

He expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Executive Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and Special Adviser to the Governor on Sports, Deji Tinubu, for motivating the management and staff of the Lagos Junior League in this regard.

“No doubt Lagos Junior League that produced the likes of Dele Alampasu, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and lots more is bound to discover and nurture more quality players.

“We are grateful to Governor Ambode and Chairman of the Sports Commission (Tinubu) for their love and leading role for Sports Development,” concluded Disu, who revealed that a pre season football game would be used to round off the August 16 seminar the following day at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
