Kwara PDP sues for peace, urges ex- executives to respect will of member.

The Peoples Democratic in Kwara state(PDP) has urged the erstwhile executive of the party led by Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo to allow peace reign in the party.

The party in a statement by its state publicity secretary, Alh Gani Alawo counselled Oyedepo that ” if he loves the party so dearly and passionate about leading it, he should subject himself to the will of the people.”

It thanked leaders and loyal members of the party for their support for the Sunday Fagbemi- led state executive of the party.

“We urge our party leaders and loyal followers who stood firmly and continue to do so against impunity to remain resolute against the assault on our collective sensibility and sense of probity.

Be rest assured that smear campaigns and the maligning of our national leaders shall fail as it has always turned out.

“And to our good people of Kwara state, we look forward to a great future where our leaders shall be duly elected to service the public good.

“Personalistic politics where cult leadership is entrenched shall have no place. The place to begin this fight is from the political party.”
