Kumuyi sees peace soon in North

General Overseer of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Worldwide, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has promised God’s restoration of the eluded peace that pervades most part of the North.

This was his core message as he took out time at the weekend to visit Plateau, Gombe and Bauchi states, assuring the state governors of God’s willingness to restore his glory and cleanse the land from wanton killings that had hitherto pervaded the north.

The Deeper Life boss in a courtesy visit to the Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, at Goverment House, Jos, condoled with the state government on the recent demise of the Traditional ruler of Bokkos LGA and the spate of the senseless killings that followed afterwards as a result of the brutal murder of the Plateau first class Chief, Saf Ron Kukere, Lazarus Agai.

Kumuyi, who was primarily in Jos for a power crusade that had brought activities in Jos to a standstill, assured Lalong of God’s control over the crisis situation in the state, stating that the crusade was designed by God to address the ugly trend of the wanton killings and restore the lost peaceful Plateau.

Responding, Lalong full of gratitude for the clergy’s prayer assures the Deeper Life boss of a conducive atmosphere during the power crusade and pledged government commitment to work closely with the Christian body to sustain the relative peace his administration had worked hard to achieve in the past one year.
