Kaspeczak elated with Tunisia progress

Tunisia coach Henry Kasperczak was elated after the Carthage Eagles made the last eight ahead of arch rivals Algeria and Zimbabwe.
Kasperczak reiterated that team work contributed to their sublime performances against both Algeria and Zimbabwe and added that they lacked the same spirit against Senegal who beat them.
“We were in a tough group and we knew the work needed but when we failed on our game against Senegal we took solace by motivating ourselves and the results have been fantastic,” Kasperczak said.
“Winning against Algeria was a big motivator and that spurred us on and I have now told the players to focus on our quarterfinal game as it will still be a battle royale against Burkina Faso.”
“We cannot relax, we are going back to training as we are taking the game very seriously. This is our only opportunity and we can’t mess with it,” he added.
Kasperczak is happy with the level of competition in the tournament.
“I am happy with the level of competition as most teams have played so well since the tournament started. A lot of new players are coming up and that’s a very positive sign for African football,” he concluded.
