KanBuja to Host Christmas Outreach for Widows, Orphans, and the Less Privileged

On December 22, 2024, Nigerian artist, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate KanBuja will be hosting a heartfelt Christmas outreach aimed at supporting widows, single mothers, orphans, and underprivileged individuals across Nigeria.
Known for his distinctive fusion of UK influence and Nigerian heritage, KanBuja’s initiative is rooted deeply in his own journey of overcoming life’s many trials — from humble beginnings in Ikom (Cross River State), growing up speaking Boki, to experiencing hardship in places like Badawa and Yankaba in Kano, and eventually transitioning to life in Abuja and the UK.
“This outreach is personal to me,” said KanBuja. “I’ve known struggle. I’ve seen it. And I’ve risen above it. Now it’s time to give back to those still facing it — especially women who carry so much weight in our communities.”
The Christmas outreach will go beyond just giving; it will offer essential food items, clothing, palliatives, and free medical checkups, creating a holistic approach to wellness and support. Beneficiaries will receive free screenings for health conditions like high blood pressure, malaria, infections, and more — including access to medication and consultations.
“This isn’t just about charity,” he added. “It’s about empowerment. It’s about reminding people that they matter — that even in struggle, there’s hope. That’s what my music is all about, and it’s what this outreach represents.”
KanBuja, who has lived in the UK for over 24 years while staying closely connected to Nigeria, is a proud example of a modern African role model — one who hasn’t lost touch with his roots. As an artist and wellness advocate, he’s passionate about creating pathways for the younger generation, combining his love for music with his commitment to wellbeing and purpose-driven living.
Food items like rice, garri, beans, yam, oil, and salt, along with cash gifts, will be distributed at the event. And with KanBuja’s strong belief in sustainability, this outreach is intended to become an annual tradition — one that brings consistent hope to families and communities in need.
Through this initiative, KanBuja continues to demonstrate that with resilience, purpose, and compassion, it’s possible to turn personal struggle into collective strength.
