Juliet Ibrahim turns entrepreneur
Not a new role in a movie, but the curvy actress/producer, known for her head-turning red carpet looks, the gorgeous and business minded, Juliet Ibrahim is set to launch her very own lashes and lipstick line.
It was learnt that while this is her first makeup line, it is not the first beauty venture for the entrepreneur who already runs a fashion house, House of Glamour.
Juliet will be launching two products- the Juliet Ibrahim’s Moda Lipstick line and Shades by Juliet Ibrahim lashes line.
The eyelash extensions will feature three different versions – Mink fur, 3D lashes and Horse hair lashes.
“It’s reusable, very comfortable even with extended wear and feels 100 per cent natural,” said Juliet’s PR Rep.
“While the hotly lashes line is already selling, the lipsticks which will be in different shades will hit the shelves soon and you will get to experience all the beautiful hues she loves wearing and more. The products which are designed to bring your beauty to the fore are wallet friendly,” the rep added
Family releases burial details for Late OJB
The family of late Nigerian music producer and artiste, Babatunde Okungbowa, aka OJB Jezreel, who passed on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, has released details of his final burial rites.
The respected music producer and singer battled with Kidney problems since 2013. He was consequently was flown to India for a transplant in 2013. After the successful surgery, OJB Jezreel showered praises on his first wife, Mama J, for being there for him and donating one of her kidneys to save his life and also on the people, fans and friends that gave support monetarily and otherwise.
However, his kidney transplant failed again a week before his demise and OJB passed on.
Jigga, as he was fondly called by close friends and associates, was preparing for his 50th birthday slated for 4th of July before his death. His body has been deposited in Farewell Funeral Homes, Isolo.
He is survived by his father, Chief Anthony Okungbowa (Arase of Agbor), siblings- Mrs. Theresa Ebunola Gamba (USA); Mr. Cornelius Archibong (England); Mr. Albert Okungbowa (USA); Mr. Anthony Okungbowa; Marvin Okungbowa; Bose Ajila Okungbowa and Joseph Okungbowa. Others are wives – Mabel Babatunde Okungbowa; June Okungbowa and Korede Okungbowa and eight children.
As part of the funeral arrangement billed to kick start with a candle light procession on Monday July 4, 2016, Wake keep/Service of songs/Tribute holds on Thursday, July 7, 2016 and a proper burial at the Ikoyi Cemetery on Friday, July 8, 2016.
Mr. 2kay takes friends on a tour of his hood
Over the weekend, fast rising musical genius, Mr.2kay took Denrele, ill bliss, Beverly and Sesan Adeniji the publisher of Mystreetz on a tour of Okirika waterfront in Rivers State where his life and struggle began before he got signed to Grafton records. The visit which was supported by Mystreetz magazine comes some months after Mr. 2kay graced the cover of the entertainment magazine.
Mr.2kay showed them places where he had to do menial jobs to make ends meet; shops where he bought clothes on credit, as well as where he hung out to have fun. Undoubtedly, it was an emotional sight as his tale was rekindled with the sights and the people they met by the waterfront. After their visit to Okirika waterfront, Mr.2kay led the visit to four radio stations in the city for interview sessions.
The visit to the waterfront and radio stations came as part of the events lined up for Mr. 2kay as he headlines the first edition of Mystreetz a-listeners’ party which held in Port Harcourt at Cosmos lounge.
Mr. 2kay is known for the release of massive hit singles like Addicted, Summer girl, Bad girl special, Who no like better thing, Count it all joy and most recently, Woods among others.

Kiddie’s favourite channel, Nickelodeon, has announced the release of the second TMNT movie – Out of the Shadows. Nickelodeon Africa will reward lucky fans with tickets to a VIP screening, holding on the 2nd of July at the Silverbird Cinema, Ikeja City Mall in Lagos, in partnership with DStv.
Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael will return to our screens alongside good friend, April O’Neil and hockey-masked newcomer, Casey Jones.
In the new movie, super villain Shredder escapes custody, and joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop and Rock steady to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take down Shredder and his crew, they are faced with an even greater evil, the notorious Krang who has the same intention to take over the world.

Eldar record act, Tee Blaq is not relenting on his cause to be more relevant in the music industry as he recently stormed location on the shoot of his latest single ‘Gbemileke’
The video which was directed by FRIZZLE & BIZZLE films and shot on locations at Mushin and Maryland areas of Lagos, features cameo appearances by Nollywood actor, Tunde Owokoniran and DJ Kaywise.
Tee Blaq is signed to Eldar Records and has popular songs like ‘Robo’, ‘Vasashi’, and ‘Nicki Minaj’ to his credit.
