Isa Adewale Memorial Tennis Tourney serves off in Kaduna

Over forty Junior tennis players drawn from the Northern region of Nigeria will take part at the maiden edition, late Alhaji Isa Adewale Memorial U-12 and U-14 Tennis Tournament holding from April 7-9, 2016 in Kaduna.
With the Kaduna club and friends of the late Alhaji Isa Adewale behind the three –day championship, one of the conveyors of the event, king Okon, said the championship is aimed at immortalizing the good name of the late tennis icon that pioneered tennis coaching in the country.
Adding that lots of gifts and awards have been set aside for winners of the boys and girls category in line with the tradition of junior championships, as well as the international standard for under-age competitions  across the world.
Meanwhile, the national junior tennis coaches, Ubale Mohammed, had appealed to coaches of junior players in the northern region of the country to encourage their players to embrace the championship which will in-turn give them the necessary exposure ahead of forthcoming National Championships like the Central Bank of Nigeria Junior Tennis Circuit.
