I'm Hopeful Of Being Nominated As Senate President- Bukola Saraki

As the tenure of David Mark as senate president draws to an end, the contest for who would be the next senate President in the 8th National Assembly has deepened.

Senators George Akume and Bukola Saraki are the front runners because of the decision of the incoming majority party, All Progressives Congress, APC, to zone the office to the North-Central region where the two of them come from.

Sen. Bukola Saraki took to his twitter handle to say that he believes he would emerge the senate president and is ready to declare his assets;

I’m hopeful at the possibility of being nominated as Senate President of 8th Assembly. I appreciate your prayers & tweets of ecouragement

Yes my position on Asset declaration is clear “@KachiZone: @MrAyeDee @bukolasaraki like declaration of assets as clamoured by @MBuhari ?”

After 3 years. Still not a single case filed “@easyfrey: @bukolasaraki counterfeit change, what happens to our 21billion EFCC case?”
